ARTIST BIOGRAPHY

Born in the interior of British Columbia, Canada, Charisse Bakers’ passion and dedication to the arts have taken her from London and New York City to Vancouver and New Delhi...Ms Baker is also a philanthropist and endeavors to better her community through encouraging artistic activities with urban youth. Ms Baker’s paintings encourage a unique perspective of visual exploration through the use of rich color, unique subject matter and textural applications of mixed media. Her paintings come to life by leading the viewer to a dimension infused with sensuousness and meaning. It is in this curious and influential space that all the limits of our imagination are set free. Ms Baker’s works are held internationally in both private and corporate collections. Most recently, Charisse can be found working out of her Vancouver studio.”
